DONT SKIP A STEP
Also comes in about 80 parts (not really, just a lot)
For the upper shelf, you're supposed to install the mounts onto the desk, then secure the shelf board on. I decided to put the mounts on the boards first and when I picked it up I ripped the stud things out of it, it still works but it happened.
Great and sturdy. Follow the instructions and its easy, took a good hour to build
I've had this desk now for a couple weeks and am extremely satisfied with it. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I am a tall guy, 6'6", and was worried it might not tall enough. I was also worried about the support bar on the legs that my legs would hit it. Neither is a problem. It is plenty tall and because the desk is do deep I didn't have any problem with the support bar. I love the shelf because I can put my monitors on it and not need to buy a separate arm. I put my external hard drives and network switch under the shelf so they are accessible but out of the way. I wasn't sure about the 55" being wide enough but that's not an issue either. I have plenty of space and even when I get a second monitor I will still have plenty of space. This is a great desk and would recommend to anyone looking for a desk.
My 11 year old son loves his desk he has so much space. Oh did I mention he build it
The front end of the desk where your hands rest do not line up perfectly. Make sure to keep the bolts loose when adjusting this portion before tightening completely. They could do better quality control onatxhing these two pieces together
saw someone said it was top heavy towards the back and you have to have it up against the wall... this is not true AT ALL. I have 2 monitors a fan and a switch on the back mantle with no top heaviness at all. overall worth the price 100% its exactly what i was looking for.
